Rev. Grace Twitty-Douglass is a woman of faith who loves all of God's people. Rev. Douglass actively serves on the ministerial staff at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She is a gifted teacher, speaker, and workshop leader. Teaching and administration are dear to her heart. She currently serves as Director to Evangelism Explosion which is a 13 week training ministry that teaches laypersons to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. She also teaches in the Christian Education Institute, Youth Department, and New Members class. Most of her public life has been devoted to planning and organizing meaningful activities for children and senior citizens. She worked for the Rochester City School District for twenty-two years where she served as Physical Education Teacher , House Principal, and Coordinator of Athletics. While there, she sponsored a variety of family fun nights, community service projects, black history assemblies, and field trips for children of all ages. One of her most memorable trips was her travels aboard to Ghana and Senegal, West Africa with forty other inter-city students and administrators.

Rev. Grace Douglass received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health, Physical Education and Dance/ Art Education from Livingston University in Alabama in 1982. She holds Master Degrees in Physical Education and Educational Administration from The State University at Brockport where she graduated with honors. In addition, Rev. Grace Douglass earned her Masters of Divinity from Northeastern Seminary on the Robert'sWesleyan Campus. She has received several awards which include: Women of Faith Award, Zion Hill Baptist Church, Parent Volunteer Award, Rochester City School District, Community Service Award, Earl Street Neighborhood Association, and Delta Jewel Award, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Rev. Grace Douglass is the youngest daughter of six children born to Jennie Hobbs-Powell and Rev. Roosevelt Holley. She is a devoted wife and loving mother. She is married to the Rev. Dr. Richard Douglass, Senior Pastor of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Together they have two adult children, Julius Richard and Grace Elizabeth.

Rev. Grace Douglass believes that if you give a person a fish, you feed him for a day, but if you teach a person to fish, you feed him for a life time." Her life's motto is "We never lose anything by helping someone else." For He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs!
